Maybe – Forecasting
Overview
Having a name like "Maybe" for a personal finance company, made forecasting feel like a table stakes feature for the product.
Our challenge was how to meet the expectations for customers who wanted a comprehensive sandbox while also not making the experience overwhelming.
We wanted planning to feel like napkin math – something that you can do quickly and multiple times, without having to worry about all the different parameters.
I was responsible for designing the forecasting experience with the focus being on leveraging already connected financial data to enable customers to visualize their lifetime net worth, input different parameters, run multiple scenarios and give overall plan feedback.
